Standard Shipping
We use Ace Hardware as our third-party shipping company. We are only able to ship select Ace items. Non-Ace items are unable to be shipped by Stine. Ace reserve the right to choose which freightway carries your shipment. We do not, however, control the shipping companies (freight or UPS). Once a shipment is in the hands of the delivery company, we cannot change shipping addresses, we cannot make a delivery happen on a certain day, and we can only approximate delivery times.
We are unable to ship closeouts, clearance, and special order items.
If your shipment arrives through a typical delivery service such as UPS or FedEx, you have 3 days to call us at 337-527-0121 ext 5071 to report the damage.
Locally Delivered items via Stine Truck
All local deliveries will require a signature at the time of delivery. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, Stine can not be held responsible for damages that may occur during delivery. It is the customers responsibility to inform us of any problems with this type of delivery at the time of purchase.
Remote or hard-to-reach areas may incur additional shipping fees. This applies to Free Shipping and regular shipping orders. If this is the case with your order, a Customer Service representative will contact you promptly to notify you of the additional charges.
If an item is shipped and returned because it is not deliverable due to an incorrect address, the customer will be responsible for shipping both ways. Orders for larger items that must ship freight require the shipping company to contact the customer prior to delivery. If the product is returned because the freight company could not reach the customer, this will be considered a return, and the order will be subject to our regular return policies.
Over 99% of deliveries have no external or internal damage, and are signed for without a problem. For your protection, we ask that you please inspect your packages following these guidelines.

Do you charge sales tax?
We are required to charge sales tax on purchases made from Louisiana and Mississippi. Louisiana residents will be charged the 4% Louisiana State sales tax rate. If the customer resides in the parish where Stine has a brick-and-mortar location, the customer will be charged both the 4% state sales tax rate as well as the local rate in that particular parish. Mississippi residents will be charged their state sales tax rate which is 7%. This amount will be added to your merchandise total and reflected on your credit card charge. We do not collect sales tax on orders placed for certain states.
If I order more than one item, will they arrive in the same box?
Since some items are shipped directly from the manufacturer and others are shipped to our store, your purchases may arrive in more than one package.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Please allow 7-14 business days for your order to arrive. We receive such favorable prices because we work hand-in-hand with our brand partners. Purchased units are either shipped directly from a brand's fulfillment center or they are shipped to our warehouse for repacking and shipping to the member's destination.
How can I track my package?
We will send an email notification when your package has shipped that will include tracking information. You can also view the status of your order and obtain tracking information in My Account.
Do appliances take longer to arrive?
Appliance orders often take longer to arrive due to the logistics of shipping larger pieces.
What is Stine insurance policy?
Stine packages are secured directly by the shippers.
