All well systems require pressurized water storage to reduce pump cycling. Most pump motors are designed to run for a minimum of one to two minutes to prevent over cycling and potential failure; an expensive repair or replacement often costing thousands of dollars. Without supplemental storage, small water uses like running a faucet or flushing a toilet would cause rapid pump cycles. A well tank provides a buffer of stored water, protecting your system and reducing energy use.
NSF61 certified for clean safe drinking water. IAPMO certified for low lead
Designed as a direct-fit replacement for the majority of installed well tank bases
Polypropylene liner separates water from the steel shell to prevent taste or odor from being absorbed into the water, the formed liner fits the steel shell for added durability
Molded diaphragm offers an ideal fit, sits on top of the water and will not fold, crease or drag against the steel shell. It water separate from the precharged air to help reduce air loss and reduce maintenance
Pre-charged to 38 psig; 100 psig maximum working pressure; 200F Max operating pressure
System connection: 1-1/4 inch NPTF, threaded malleable iron elbow with stainless steel insert
2-part water-based paint system sprayed over a durable 2-part epoxy primer provides corrosion resistance and safe paint covering
Well tanks are not be used in Reverse Osmosis systems
Well tanks are not be used for water expansion in thermal (water heater) or hydronic (boiler/solar) systems
